CROSS DOCKING SERVICES
We offer a number of cost-effective solutions for cross-docking systems that enable you to reduce storage volumes and the number of deliveries to the end customer. JFC Intermodal Group offer short-term storage and consolidation of shipments for delivery at our cross-docking locations warehouse and terminal in Montreal and Toronto.
The cross dock facility can also be used to link container unloading with own transport collections. Simply by removing stock from the container can achieve an increased outbound payload of 3 tons (the weight of the container) per load. By unloading the shipping container at JFC Intermodal Group facilities this eliminates most of the costly inland container shunt.
A cross-docking solution can also be linked to high-frequency goods held by us, so that stock as well as ordered goods are consolidated in a single order to the end customer.
